Postby EvanAgee » Mon Jan 04, 2010 7:12 pm

It's been a long time, but we're back! We'll be recording our 100th episode this week, but first we need your feedback. Our 100th episode is going to be called "The Unanswered Mysteries of LOST" and we'll be discussing the remaining questions that have yet to be answered by the creators of LOST. We need you to call in 765-439-4390 (or email) your pick for the BIGGEST unanswered mystery of LOST as well as your thoughts on that mystery. Feel free to call in multiple times with different entries as there are some mysteries that are going to be very popular with the community.

We'll be recording the episode on Wednesday January 6th so we'll need your feedback before then in order to include it in the episode.

Talk to you soon!

I am happy you are coming back. I was a little worried that you might not.

One thing about this last season that has me worried is it's sort of the super bowl for Lost. Meaning a lot of people that were viewers in the past that dropped off are probably going to come back for this season to see what the answers are or at least they will watch the final episode. So if the writers don't come through on everything they are going to say they were right to stop watching. You ask why I care about what they think? Well I would care because during season 2 and 3 I was the one that said they would regret not watching because it was the best show ever....if they show doesn't make sense I would have to take back that claim.

When I rewatch season one I get a little frustrated because so much just in that season seemed so mysterious and imporant. But, now you do wonder if they will even get back to anything prior to season 5. One thing I wonder about now (besides what I called in about..I don't want to spoil it ahead of your show) is how Ethan was so strong. Are we going to have to rationalize ourselves saying that he was just obsessed? I love theorizing, but without an answer to ever come it's delusion not theory. I remember when I first saw it saying "there is no way he could drag both people and hang one by their neck all by himself" or how he broke every bone in someones body. But now I am almost certain it won't be answered. I imagine the writers figure they don't need to answer it, because they have this whole time travel alternate reality thing going on, but then why the big build up? Once the show is over and done with I ask myself is it just going to make me feel like I wasted my money on the DvDs and wasted my time watching the show if I will never know all the answers.

Thanks Nathanielstarr, I'm glad we're coming back too :)

I pre-ordered the Lost Season 6 season pass from iTunes and along with that came free season 1-5 recaps, which were originally aired ahead of each respective season premiere. It was almost depressing to me how much the show has changed since seasons 1 and 2. I'm not sure if it would have been possible for them to retain the mystique while giving answers, but man this show was considerably better back in those days.

Let's hope Season 6 is truly similar to season 1 as they've stated.

Anton and Evan - I have missed your LOST views over this hiatus! I am so happy you are back and revved up for the final season.

I would love to know your viewpoint on some of the discussions that have been happening over the hiatus;

1. Will there be a "reset" - in the sense that Jack laid out?
2. Do you think it will be an alternate reality similar to the comic con videos?
3. How will Season 6 open?
4. What do you think happened to the losties at the Swan site at the end of Season 6?
5. What storytelling structure will be used for Season 6 (not flashbacks, flashforwards, or time travel)?

Couldn't you guys cram in a quick episode right before the show begins?

Never-the-less, it is fantastic to have you back. Thanks for playing my voicemail and for adding a link to our show. Hopefully we can do something again during the final season!

YO!!

I hope you don't mind me jumping in Jedfindlay. But I think it's not really a reset, but more the new storytelling device this season as in flashsideways and by the end of the season the old timeline will be reinstated.

I think the timeline we've been watching all along was a reality created by Jacob to prevent something very bad from happening and we are going to see that bad thing happen and why it has to be prevented.

The show is about proving that sometimes humanity does make the right decision sometimes and they need to sacrifice their happier lives that never crashed on the plane to fix the very bad future event.

Maybe that is how John Locke walks. He is a Locke from an alternate timeline where he never met Anthony Cooper.
