    Hi Guys,
    I LOVE your podcast! I just started watching lost about 2 months ago, and I love being able to listen to a pocast that doesn’t spoil what is to come. And it doesn’t hurt that you guys are fun to listen to…some LOST podcast are kinda dry.
    I just listened to the most recent episode of yours, “Whatever the Case May Be”, and you were talking about the French lyrics that Shannon recognized from a movie from a kid she had babysat. And then how Rousseau would have known a song that was in a recent kids movie if she had been there for the past 16 years.
    Well… Shannon mentions “the cartoon movie with the fish; one of the computer ones,” That would have been “Finding Nemo”, which came out in theaters in May 2003. So it would have been a newer DVD before September 2004.
    During the credits of this movie, the song “Beyond the Sea” is sung. Which, after a little research, I found out that it was originally a French song entitled “La Mer” written in 1943. It was then translated into English into the song “Beyond the Sea,” made famous in the US in the 1960’s.
    Soooooo…. It’s not a far stretch that Rousseau knew these French lyrics, while Shannon had been annoyed by the same lyrics in English. Maybe Rousseau had sung that song to Alex?
    Anyway, I thought I’d share that. I don’t know if that is a well known fact by most LOST fans, but I figured something out on my own! :)
